Pirates Bay at Discovery Harbour

When: Saturday, August 4, 10AM – 5PM

Where: Discovery Harbour, 93 Jury Drive, Penetanguishene

What: Grab your eye patch and your parrot and head to Discovery Harbour for a day of swashbuckling family fun in the Pirates Lair. Don’t miss out on ‘sink a ship’ with Captain Tuna, a visit to the tattoo parlour, learning your sailing knots and a Pirate and Navy skirmish! There will even be a petting zoo, pirate crafts and roving musicians.

Taste the Trail Summer Market 

When: Saturday, August 4, 9:30AM – 12:30PM

Where: Sainte-Marie amoung the Hurons, 16164 Highway 12 East Thunder Bay Road shoreline and wildflowers

What: A truly special summer market. This event brings together farm fresh produce and food vendors, artisans, educational exhibits and interactive booths to create a unique experience for the full familyAdmission to the market is free, and during this time, admission to Sainte-Marie amoung the Hurons is 50% off. During the market, the historical site will offer a historical food tour and demonstration and give guests the chance to cook bannock over an open fire!

Midland Farmers’ Market

When: Sunday, August 5, 9AM – 1PM

Where: 526 Bay Street, Midland, in the parking lot behind Subway

Music in the Park

Tay Heritage Driving Tour

When: Monday, August 6, 2018, 9AM – 2PM

Where: Oakwood Community Centre, 290 Park Street, Victoria Harbour

What: A new twist on the traditional driving tour! Grab up to 4 friends in your car and head out to explore the local area with driving instructions, quizzes and lots of prizes. The rally will showcase several historic sites and some of the most picturesque views around Tay Township. At the tour’s end, you’ll get to enjoy a great meal before heading home.
